Paul Vasquez named NWCA Arizona Boy's Coach of the Year and Davy Miller named Girl's Coach of the Year

Sahuarita head coach Paul Vasquez was named Ariaona Boy's Coach of the Year by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) and Liberty coach Davy Miller was named Arizona Girl's Coach of the Year.
Vasquez led Sahuarita to back-to-back D-III state championships and Miller led Liberty to another state championship on the girl's side.
The Canyon View boys took second place in D-II action and the staff was recogzined as the National Section 7 Assistant Staff of the Year and the Arizona Staff of the Year. The Casteel girl's staff was named Arizona Girl's Staff of the Year.
