Round Valley beat Sahuarita 77 to 63 to capture the first Division II state championship offered by the AIA.

"They broke up the divisions and gave the small school girls a little bit of a chance to fight for it (title)," Round Valley coach Garrett Finch said. "These girls worked hard, and we were able to secure a win."
