Sherman Oaks Notre Dame wins in Ireland 27-15

The Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks, Calif.) football team is enjoying the Notre Dame-Navy college game today in Dublin, Ireland following a huge victory on Friday night.
Eric Sondheimer reported in the Los Angeles Times that Notre Dame defeated Hamilton (Chandler, Ariz.) 27-15 in a historic prep game, despite luggage problems which forced the players to practice two days without shoulder pads.
The Knights took a 20-7 halftime lead as kicker Lucas Alfonso booted field goals of 45 and 22 yards. Nick Holland also made a major contribution by returning an interception 60 yards for a touchdown.
Standout running back Khalfani Muhammad was sidelined in the first half by a rib injury and did not play in the second half.
