Page moves into second all-time with 21st championship

The girls of ALA-Queen Creek moved to the next level by winning the third championship in program history with all three coming in a row. The Patriots scored 80 points with Pusch Ridge (122) taking second and Salpointe (131) coming in third.

ALA - West Foothills sophomore sensation Gwendolyn LeVander brought home the gold with a time of 19:04.5. Eastmark junior Ruby Lambson came in with a time of 19:10.7. LeVander took 12th as a freshman last year and she’s projected to go under 19 minutes as a junior.

The Page (43) boys recorded the 21st team championship in program history, joining Tuba City and drawing closer to the 27 won by Hopi. This is also the fourth in a row for the Sand Devils. Rio Rico scored 110 and ALA-West Foothills scored 174.

Page senior Symond Martin (15:27.7) took first followed by Catalina senior Emiliano Caldera (15:43.7) and Page junior Nyall Prather (15:48.9). Martin took second in 2023 and 2024 and he will be running fir NAU.
