Cibola won the Division II title last year but the Raiders are wrestling in D-I this winter. Look for Liberty and Mountain View to move up and challenge for the title this year. Kofa finished in 41st place last year but the Kings won the Section I title this year by a wide margin over Desert Edge.

Liberty won the team portion of the Diego Gadea Salpointe Invitational with a score of 251. The complete list of winners is found below but first a bit about the invitational itself.
Ironwood Ridge won the team portion of the 50th Flowing Wells Invitational held Friday and Saturday with a score of 222.5. The Nighthawks entered the final round with a 13.5 lead over two-time defending champion Mesa Mountain View (130.5 to 117) and held on for the victory.

Seton Catholic, Liberty, Mesa Mountain View and Ironwood Ridge perform well at highly visible tournaments.
Chino Valley won the Marana Mountain View Duals Saturday with Kendall Foster leading the way a win in the 126-pound weight class. Mountain View took second and Safford came in third.
